Content Policy

NovumCloud Technologies (“NC”) is committed to providing high-quality messaging services while preventing spam, phishing, and fraud. To meet these goals, we follow CTIA messaging guidelines, the Short Code Monitoring Handbook, and Twilio’s Code of Conduct. These policies apply to all SMS and MMS messages sent through the 3CX App or other NovumCloud provided tools.

Enhanced Business SMS
Users of Enhanced Business SMS must follow NovumCloud’s Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
Guidelines
Limit sending to 30 messages per originating number per minute.
Obtain written consent before sending marketing, promotional, or informational messages.
Avoid purchased or third-party lead lists.
Include clear opt-out instructions in every message.
Use branded domains for links and avoid link shorteners.
Complete required TCR registration before sending SMS messages.
Automated messaging
Automated SMS messages may only use numbers linked to a TCR-approved “Automated” campaign. Obtain express, logged consent from recipients before sending automated or promotional messages. Each message must include opt-out instructions (e.g., “Reply STOP to end”) and honor all opt-out requests.
Opt-in/ User consent
Consent must never be bought, sold, or exchanged. Only obtain consent directly from the message recipient.
Requirements:
Secure consent before sending the first message. Clearly inform recipients what messages they will receive.
Keep records of consent, such as signed forms or timestamps.
Reconfirm consent if the first message is delayed.
Consent applies only to the specific campaign or use for which the recipient agreed.
Opt-out
Include standard opt-out instructions in your initial message (e.g., STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT). Users may revoke consent at any time. After opt-out, you may send only one final confirmation message. Sending additional messages requires renewed consent.
Prohibited campaigns
The following campaigns are strictly prohibited:
Loan, mortgage, credit repair, debt relief, or debt collection offers
Work-from-home, secret shopper, political, alcohol, tobacco, firearms, or drug advertisements
Hate speech, harassment, or messages from hate groups
Fraudulent or malicious content (malware, viruses)
Similar campaigns to those listed above
Prohibited businesses include:
Indirect lenders, payday loans, or student loans
Companies promoting investment, gambling, or sweepstakes
Multi-level marketing or work-from-home schemes
Sale or promotion of controlled substances, Kratom, alcohol, tobacco, firearms, or fireworks
Sharing or selling SMS opt-in lists
Third-party affiliate or lead-generation campaigns
Carrier Fees and Account Restrictions:
Violating NovumCloud or carrier policies may result in:
Reduced message deliverability
Additional registration requirements and fees
Service suspension or termination
Pass-through fines (e.g., $1,000 for 10DLC evasion, $10,000 for content violations)
You are responsible for staying informed of all policy updates and legal requirements when sending SMS messages.
